Ryedale and Kirkbymoorside
On the southern fringe of the North York Moors National Park, surrounded by breathtaking countryside,
is the peaceful market town of Kirkbymoorside. The wide main street, part of which is still cobbled, is flanked
by stonebuilt dwellings. Appletree Court in Kirkbymoorside is an ideal base to discover the romantic Ryedale
area; renowned for churches, abbeys, ancestral homes, folk museums and craft centres.
Appletree Court
Once a working farm, Appletree Court has been modernised and thoughtfully restored, retaining many original features. The bedrooms are named
after apples, and each has a colour television. Crispin, Pearmain, Bramley, Pippin and Granny Smith have private bathrooms. There is a walled garden to the
rear. Full English breakfast, to a high standard of cooking and presentation, is provided from a
varied menu. Packed lunches are available on request.
