The 10K Run

May 1st was a delightful day in Kirkbymoorside.

Firstly, over a hundred tractors came through the town 

then there were three races: infants, youngters and adults.

A large and enthusiastic crowd clapped and cheered as the competitors gave their all.

The brass band played and the mayor provided commentary as the finishers crossed the line. The main race was attended by 400 runners from far and wide and many comments were made about what a pleasant day out it was, much helped by the crowds and band.
